Keep Aware Brings Integrated Threat Detection and Response to HERE's Enterprise Browser

AI browsers are changing what "browser security" means. When an agent can click, fill forms, upload files, and move data across a dozen SaaS and AI tools on a person's behalf, governance policy alone can't tell you what's actually happening at the point of interaction. It can define what's allowed. It can't tell you when a credential is being phished, when an extension is exfiltrating data, or when a user session has already been compromised. Catching those requires visibility into behavior as it happens.

That gap, between governing what should happen in the browser and detecting what is happening in the browser, is where most enterprise security programs are exposed today. We built Keep Aware to close that gap. Today, we're announcing our partnership with HERE Enterprise to go a step further – building an AI browser that serves as a governed workspace.

HERE already enforces governance at the infrastructure level: process isolation, screenshot and screen-share restrictions, print controls, copy-paste governance. We're bringing an additional layer to HERE that includes real-time detection and response to what users, agents, and sessions are actually doing inside that governed space.

What's new: Keep Aware capabilities inside HERE

The partnership extends across four areas, each addressing a different point in the browser's attack surface:

• Threat detection and response. Directly observed browser behavior including identifying phishing pages, credential theft attempts, and other high-risk interactions as they happen.

• Data loss prevention. Policies at the level of user, group, application, website, and context, with alert, warn, and block actions available depending on the sensitivity of what's moving.

• Upload, download, and data-entry controls. File movement and credential entry across web, SaaS, and AI applications become governable events rather than invisible ones.

• Behavioral telemetry. Security and compliance teams get browser-level visibility into shadow AI and IT usage and emerging patterns of risky behavior, the kind of signal that's normally invisible until an incident forces a retroactive investigation.

For Keep Aware, this partnership further advances our browser-agnostic approach. But HERE is not simply another browser we support. It is a joint offering, purpose-built to give HERE customers expanded security capabilities as a part of their platform — not as a bolted-on marketplace add-on.

"HERE was built for organizations where security is non-negotiable, such as the banks, hospitals, government agencies and defense organizations that cannot afford to get it wrong," said Mazy Dar, CEO of HERE. "By combining HERE's governed workspace with Keep Aware's browser-native threat intelligence and response capabilities, we're giving customers a more complete way to control risk at the point where users, data, applications and AI actually meet."
"We built Keep Aware to operate where the work actually happens: inside the browser," said Ryan Boerner, our CEO. "HERE built its enterprise browser around a governed workspace model that aligns closely with our own. Because HERE is designed to meet the governance and control requirements of highly regulated enterprises, this partnership delivers our browser protection to some of the most security-conscious organizations in the world."

What enterprise security teams gain

The browser is the new operating system, and increasingly, it's where AI tools live and work gets done. Employees are adopting a wider range of browsers than ever before, creating new challenges for enterprise security and governance, especially in regulated environments.

HERE Enterprise addresses this with a governed workspace model designed for secure, productive work. Keep Aware complements it with real-time visibility and controls over high-risk clicks, sessions, and interactions that governance alone cannot provide.

When used together, HERE Enterprise combined with Keep Aware helps organizations create a workspace that is secure by design, productive, and protected.
